Set aside time for just you and your child. Share an activity like reading; it’s a great way to develop your child’s listening and speaking skills.
Spend time outdoors with your child. Take them to parks, museums or even grocery shopping. All these are FREE and keep them physically and mentally active and help them to be confident.
Get familiar with how your child spends part of their day by getting involved in your child’s parent and toddler group, pre-school or nursery.
Share an interest or hobby with your child. It could be your or their interest. If you enjoy gardening, get your child to help you. Children love interaction and being responsible for jobs. Get them to plant seeds or water the garden and they’ll learn about nature too.
